There are luxury penthouses, historic homes and exquisite residences – most with memorable views and proximity to local trails and an abundance of recreation. Park City’s Historic Main Street is aligned with unique restaurants, boutiques and art galleries, as well as the Egyptian Theatre where you can enjoy local productions. The Sundance Film Festival, Arts Festival, Fourth of July Parade, Park Silly Market and many other events speckle the area, providing excitement and entertainment throughout the year. The surrounding areas of Park Meadows, Prospector Square and Thaynes Canyon offer exceptional family living within minutes of schools, recreation and all three ski resorts.

Old Town

Park City, Utah has been crowned the best-preserved mining town in the West. After the discovery of silver in 1868, this small mining camp grew into a town of miners, gamblers, merchants, saloon keepers and ladies of the evening. After the city’s 1884 incorporation, mining flourished until the 1930s and gradually declined into the 1960s. The first ski resort opened in 1963 which was the beginning of establishing one of the most popular ski destinations in the country. Park City Mountain Resort is the largest ski resort in North America and connects Canyons Village, the Park City Base area and Main Street. Town Lift offers easy access to the slopes and Main Street with its boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and bars.

The Old Town Park City real estate area encompasses most of the area from Historic Main Street to Park City Mountain Resort to the Park City Municipal Golf Course and past the charmingly City Park. Largely as a result of historical preservation, Old Town has retained its small, old-western mining town charm. However, some upscale condominiums such as the Sky Lodge, the Caledonian and Marsac Mill Manor compliment beautifully restored historic homes. In the most recent years new contemporary projects have been added to the Old Town real estate inventory: 205 Main Street – Brownstone Living, 820 Park Avenue, Sky Strada, Sky Silver, Parkite and the Roundabout. Park City is known for its art scene, top of the line restaurants and greatest snow on Earth.

Thaynes Canyon

Thaynes Canyon is perhaps one of Park City’s most coveted neighborhoods, where you can reside amid town’s original agricultural settings, while enjoying privacy and seclusion from the area’s mature wooded landscaping, and ski resort views.. Thaynes is located directly up the hill from the picturesque McPolin White Barn on Highway 224 and stretches all the way to the Park City Municipal Golf Course. You’ll find an array of single-family homes and condominium in a variety of price ranges, from rustic to contemporary, and excellent options for both primary residences and vacation-home buyers wanting to live steps from Park City Ski Area and the Vail Resort gondola. Some of the homes back up to the golf course, others provide spacious equestrian zoning, and all offer close proximity to Park City’s shopping, skiing, restaurants, entertainment and trails. Thaynes Canyon is an excellent area for all home buyers.

Silver Star

Silver Star at Park City offers luxury condos, townhomes and cottages located mid-mountain, with ski access via Park City Mountain’s Silver Star chairlift. This ski village pays homage to Park City’s silver mining days, combining historic buildings with modern architecture for an ideal ski-in, ski-out atmosphere. There is an outdoor plaza with the Silver Star Ski & Sport rental shop, Silver Star Café, lift ticket window and heated outdoor pool. A complimentary shuttle service is offered in the winter.

Park Meadows

Park Meadows is the largest planned subdivision in Park City, providing a variety of living styles, from elaborate custom homes and townhomes to resort ranchettes and suburban-style homes. In the center of the neighborhood is the Park Meadows Golf Course and Country Club, with private restaurant and lounge, swimming pool and banquet rooms. The nearby Park City Municipal Athletic & Rec Center (MARC) offers community swimming pools, tennis bubble, fitness classes and free weights, and is available to all local residents. Located just minutes from Historic Main Street and Park City Ski Resort, and within walking distance of Park City High School, Treasure Mountain Middle School and McPolin Elementary School, Park Meadows is a classic Park City neighborhood and great place to live for both primary and vacation-home residents.

Prospector

The Prospector area comprises a commercial and residential district that houses the shopping center where Einstein’s Bagel, El Chubasco and Sammy’s restaurants live. The area is popular with full-time residents and second-home owners alike. Park City High School, Treasure Mountain Middle School and McPolin Elementary School are within walking distance, as are many of the area’s favorite restaurants, shops and the Silver Mountain Sports Club. Town’s three ski and snowboarding resorts are close by as is the historic Rail-Trail, providing miles of hiking and biking with endless scenery. Park City High School, Treasure Mountain Middle School and McPolin Elementary are all in walking distance. The free bus system picks up throughout Prospector providing transportation all around town, including the nearby the US Ski and Snowboard Association’s “Center of Excellence,” the National Ability Center, Park City’s Ice Rink, and the new Park City Medical Center.
