Deer Valley® Resort is reporting a 10% to 15% increase in visitation this winter and while this is the first year that the resort has been part of the nationwide IKON pass program, the marketing department attributes at least some of the success to snowfall – expected to hit the 300-inch mark by the end of ski season this Sunday.

“You just can’t go wrong in years like this,” said Deer Valley Marketing Director, Colleen Reardon. “We know that our regular guests and IKON pass holders are bringing us more visitors on any given day … but, it’s the snow, not just IKON pass, that has contributed to this amazing winter.”

Planning to report a “Super March,” both Deer Valley and the Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau are excited about hitting new records for both skier days and visitor nights. While there were also great snow conditions in other markets, Park City’s 30-minute proximity to the Salt Lake International Airport combined with its array of accommodations and amenities make it a fantastic destination for all.
